Club Passim is located in the heart of Harvard Square

We are in the basement of an 1830 brick delivery building and carriage house
on the corner of Church and Palmer streets.
Palmer Street, a brick
alley between Church and Brattle streets, has the Harvard Coop clothing
department store on one side and the Harvard Coop book/record
department store on the other. The Club is located across the street
from the Border Cafe, under the Globe Corner Bookstore.

Via the T
Take Red Line to Harvard Square T stop.
• Exit via Church Street entrance
Walk one block down Church Street past Harvard Square Theater to Palmer
Street on left. We are in the basement just around the corner on the left.
•Exit via Harvard Square main entrance Cross Massachusetts Ave. to Harvard
Coop building. Stay left by newsstand on Brattle Street to first right (Palmer
Street) which is 200 feet from the corner. Turn right and walk one block.
We are on the right in the basement just before you reach Church Street.

Via Car
Harvard Square is a maze of one way streets and is easiest to navigate with a
map. On-street parking
is difficult to find - we recommend parking in the Charles Square Garage (see below). Enjoy the trip with humor and patience!

From the West Take Mass Pike I-90 to the Cambrdige/Allston exit (exits
left off Pike). Stay right through toll booth and follow signs to Cambridge.
Go straight through first set of lights over bridge (Charles River). Just
over bridge at lights turn left on to Memorial Drive (closed on Sundays
take left on Storrow Drive access road just before bridge, follow river
to Harvard Square exit, take right over bridge and JFK Street). Follow Charles
River on left past two sets of lights.
At third set of lights take right on JKF Street. Go one block (Harvard University
dorms on right, J.F. Kennedy Park and School on left) to Eliot Street lights.
(YOU CAN BEGIN THE HUNT FOR ON-STREET PARKING NOW)
Go straight past small park on left to lights at Mt. Auburn Street. Go straight
to next set of lights. This is Harvard Square. Take left on to Brattle Street
past Palmer Street on right, bear right past pedestrian mall onto Brattle
Street. Take first right onto Church Street. There is a parking lot on left
($14/night). Palmer Street is on right.

From the South Take I-93 North to Mass. Pike extension and follow directions
above or take Storrow Drive exit off the Central Artery then stay left.
Follow Storrow Drive along Charles River past downtown Boston, Boston University,
Central Square/I-90 exit, to the Harvard Square exit. Take right at exit
over bridge (Charles River) and go straight at lights onto JKF Street. Follow
directions above.

From the North Take I-93 south or Route 1 south to Central Artery. Take the
Storrow Drive exit off the Central Artery and stay left to remain on Storrow
Drive. Follow Storrow Drive along Charles River past downtown Boston, Boston
University, Central Square/I-90 exit, to the Harvard Square exit. Take right
at exit over bridge (Charles River) and go straight at lights onto JKF Street.

Parking (see P on map)
Passim recommends parking in the Charles Square Garage located at One Bennet Street. Members of Passim may park in the garage after 3:30PM for a $7 flat rate - please remember to have your parking stub validated at Club Passim. Non-members may request a validation stamp for $2 off the regular parking fee. You may also print this coupon to receive the $2 discount.
Meters are in force only to 6:00 PM. On-street parking at meters can often
be found along Brattle Street and Cambridge Common. Resident only parking
is enforced.
